Wasteland is the third top-down stage exclusive to the X68000 version of Thunder Force II.

This stage takes place over a large ruined underground city, apparently destroyed by the ORN forces. It features floating walls which block the player's path and form a kind of maze which the player must navigate in order to find the four bases to destroy.
