Underground City is the second top-down stage from Thunder Force II.

This stage takes place above a large metropolis in the first underground layer of planet Nebula. The main obstacles in this level are skyscrapers and floating structures which the player can shoot through. The four bases are relatively close to each other, without any sort of barrier between them.
