Roy S. Mercury (ロイ・Ｓ・マーキュリー) is one of the protagonists from Thunder Force IV.
Story[]
Roy is a Lieutenant of the Galactic Federation's 104th Space Aviation Division. He is a close friend and classmate of Jean R. Fern at the Federation Military Academy. He is known for his superhuman reflexes, which allowed him to survive numerous battles.
Along with his partner Carol T. Mars, Roy piloted the Rynex in the operation to destroy the Vios. According to one of the Mission Reports in Thunder Force VI, neither of them returned from the mission and were declared missing in action, with Roy receiving a honorary rank of Brigadier General. Though they ejected from the ship amidst the explosion of the Vios fortress, their whereabouts are unknown.
