Guardian's Knight (ガーディアンズ・ナイト Gādianzu Naito?) is the fourth boss from Thunder Force V. It's a robot-warrior which can switch into a plane.

Being Guardian's lieutenant, its armaments are specifically made for this sentinel. In its plane form, it can fire 2 lasers while making a barrel roll. Once damaged, it will switch to its knight form, fire bullets and usually, slice the Gauntlet with its Ray-Blade.
Upon damaging this form, it will revert back to its plane form and switch back again in the knight form, using 4 satellites to ambush the Gauntlet because of their fine lasers while Guardian's Knight will attempt to slash the starfighter in pieces.
Then, Guardian's Knight will again revert back into its plane form and knight form, but for the last time. It will not hesitate to fire its large cannon and even upon defeating it, it will commit a last kamikaze attack by firing the large cannon one last time before exploding.
