"The giant battleship Judgement Sword and the interior of the Guardian, the autonomous artificial intelligence."
From the Bottom of One's Heart is the penultimate stage from Thunder Force V.
Details[]
This stage takes place inside of the Judgement Sword, in a virtual reality simulation created by the Guardian. The player faces a gauntlet of enemies which materialize on the screen as well as larger worm-like enemies which are often preceded by a change in the background. Halfway through four red rings appear which attempt to align horizontally with the player to shoot a large laser beam. Near the end, multiple data crystals spawned at front of the Vambrace, sent flying if damaged, along with crystal debris.
Trivia[]
- Its BGM, "Electric Mind", has been arranged twice :
- First, as Khaos Ascendant's theme, known as "The Justice Ray, Part 2", as its recognizable sample can be heard;
- Second, as the bad ending's theme "Please Seal It Up!".
- It, along with Stage 7, is the only stage in the Thunder Force series to take place in cyberspace.
