Cave Monster (unofficial name) is the fourth boss from Thunder Force II.
Details[]
When approaching the boss the player has to face tentacles on the ground which shoot in the player's direction and avoid the water droplets from the ceiling. The floor and ceiling will converge until the player reaches a dead end, where there's only a blob. This blob eventually dissolves, revealing the boss behind it, a mutant head with a antenna. All the boss does is move back and forth, eventually opening its mouth to shoot fireballs.
